Spring Games/Friendlies Commitment
U11-U12 teams will participate in Montana Youth Soccer Association league play.  Games take place on Saturday starting April 12, 2025. Locations will vary each weekend and each team usually plays 2 games a day. Our U10 teams will play in friendlies on Saturdays throughout the spring season. Locations will vary each weekend and each team usually plays 2 games a day. 

During the spring season families should plan on having soccer commitments every Saturday and/or Sunday with the exception of the Memorial Day weekend.

Team/Player Fees: Have not been determined yet but typically vary between $1100-1500 for the season.  This includes everything aside from your own expenses for travel, uniforms, and personal training equipment.

Spring Tournament Options:
Strikers FC Technical Director will work with each coach to plan a tournament schedule that fits his/her team’s ability level and travel expectations. Below is a tournament list that includes but is not limited to options to attend. Teams should expect to attend at least 3-5 of the following:
April 18-20: Premier Spring Showcase in Burnaby/Surrey, BC (T1 option only)
April 26-27: Magic City Classic tournament in Billings, MT (u13-15 T1 and T2 option)
May 9-11: Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot tournament in Coeur D’Alene, ID (T2 option only)
May 18-19: Montana State Cup in Helena, MT (Qualified MYSA Premier League teams only)
May 24-26: Boise Timbers/Thorns Memorial Day Clasico in Boise, ID
May 24-26: Real Cup in Denver, CO (T1 option only)
May 30-June 1: 3 Blind Refs tournament in Kalispell, MT

Premier League Commitment (T1 teams and qualifying T2 teams)
U13-19 teams will participate in Montana Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) league play.  There are two options for league play at these ages: Premier League and Select League. Teams who participate in the Montana Premier League will play league games against the top teams in the state in their respective age groups. The top 4 in the Premier League division qualify for Montana State Cup in Helena, MT, May 18-19. If a team wins the State Cup, that team will attend FarWest Regionals. If a team finishes second in State Cup, that team will attend USYS Farwest Presidents Cup. Premier games take place starting Saturday starting April 5, 2025. Locations will vary each weekend and each team usually plays 1 premier league game a day, and 1 select league game. Premier League games can include farther travel than Select League games.

Select League Commitment (T2 teams)
The second option for MYSA league play is the Montana Select League. This league is reserved for teams who are not participating in the Montana Premier League. Premier League teams can also play Select League games, but only as their second game of the day, and the result of these games do not affect the Premier League standings.  Select League games take place on Saturdays starting April 12, 2025. Locations vary each weekend and each team usually plays 2 games in one day. 

During the spring season, families should plan on having soccer commitments every Saturday (and some Sundays) from April through mid June.

In addition to our spring teams, we are also offering the opportunity for our U13-U19 players to be placed on winter showcase teams.  Ideally, our spring 2025 T1/premier-level teams (which could include T2 teams if competition level is appropriate) attend winter showcase tournaments together.  However, we are aware that some of our T1 players are multi-sport athletes who participate in other activities during the winter months and therefore do not want to commit to winter showcase tournaments. If we are unable to get full commitment from all T1/premier-level players in an age group, we will form teams through adding Strikers FC T2 players, combining players from two age groups, or adding non-Strikers FC players.  If only a small number of players from one age group wish to attend showcase tournaments, and a full team cannot be formed, efforts will be made to find those particular players guest playing opportunities with other clubs. Thus, the priority is to allow players who want to play winter showcase tournaments the opportunities to do so. TRAINING WILL START AS EARLY AS DECEMBER FOR TEAMS ATTENDING PACNW.

*The commitment to a winter showcase team must be made prior to tryouts, during the registration process.  If you choose to be considered for placement on a winter showcase team during the registration process, it is considered a full commitment. Your player account will be assessed a $100 deposit which will be applied to your showcase team fees. The deposit is non-refundable if you make a showcase team and regardless of if you accept your showcase placement or not.  This fee has to be paid before tryouts begin or you will not be considered for the team. You will only be refunded if your player does not make a showcase team.

2006-09 Boys & Girls Winter Showcase Team Commitment 

If you would like to be considered for a winter showcase team, you must commit to 2 of the 3 tournaments listed below. Our winter showcase players will only be charged for the tournaments they attend. 

1. PacNW Winter Classic | January 17-20 2025 | Tukwila WA | Additional fee beyond spring player fees: $190 for player who will travel with family $675-890 for player traveling with a Strikers FC chaperone (chaperone price is dependent on the number of players who choose this option).   

2. Mayor’s Cup | Boys: February 15-17 2025 | Girls: February 21-23 2025 | Las Vegas NV | Additional fee beyond spring player fees: $250 for player who will travel with family $765-1030 for player traveling with a Strikers FC chaperone (chaperone price is dependent on the number of players who choose this option).   

3. Player’s Showcase | Boys: March 7-9 2025 | Girls: March 14-16 2025 | Las Vegas NV | Additional fee beyond spring player fees: $250 for player who will travel with family $765-1030 for player traveling with a Strikers FC chaperone (chaperone price is dependent on the number of players who choose this option).
